The Top Conferences in Marketing, Advertising and Web Industries for June 2014

One of the best ways to make your mark in the marketing, advertising, or web worlds is to mix and mingle with some of your peers and colleagues. Each year, there are some amazing conferences that take place all over the country and all around the globe that can help you make some great connections while you build on your current knowledge and skill sets. Here are some of the top conferences that our Optimum Online Systems clients will be attending next month:

 

International PHP 2014 Conference. Held in the same hotel where webinale catches on a few days later, Maritim Hotel ProArte plays host to the International PHP 2014 Conference in Berlin, Germany from June 1^st through June 4^th. Well-known featured speakers and workshops are intended to teach something new to anyone who attends.

 

webinale. Dubbed “the holistic web conference”, this annual conference takes place in Berlin, Germany. This expo takes place on June 3^rd and 4^th. This meeting will take place in the Maritim Hotel ProArte. While the majority, if not all, of this conference is delivered auf Deutsch, if you’re able to make your way to Berlin, this is a cultural and occupational experience that you won’t quite be able to obtain elsewhere. The purpose of this conference is to bring a bridge to the gaps that exist between entrepreneurs, web developers, and managers in a forum that is live and practical.

Festival Eyeo. Minneapolis, MN hosts an enormous festival of coding and web capabilities. From June 10^th through the 13^th, this Midwestern city calls upon the talents and teachings of web specialists the world over. Coders, data designers, and artists will be on hand to teach you more about the ways of the web, and open source operators will be on the forefront of this year’s teaching missions. The Walker Art Center is the hub for this year’s Festival Eyeo. Rooms with special rates for this event are being held at Double Tree.

 

 

 

 

2014 Interlink Web Design Conference & Workshops. While the name seems pretty self-explanatory, this conference isn’t just for computer gurus. This three-day event welcomes website architects, developers, and designers as well as project managers, marketing professionals, and any other business professionals. From June 8^th through the 14^th, business people and web experts will converge in the beautiful city of Toronto, Canada. The series of workshops, conferences, talks, and social events will take place at Ryerson University’s Ted Rogers School of Management.

 

Valio Con. This isn’t your typical sit-in-a-hotel-conference-room conference. Valio Con prides itself on being fun, interactive, and full of personality. Hosted in beautiful San Diego, CA, 2014 will mark the 4^th annual Valio Con. You’ll not only hear from an enormous slew of super motivated and successful folks that have made their way in the business world, but you’ll hang out with some super motivated and inspirational colleagues, as well. The conference takes place on the warm and sandy beaches of San Diego, so you might want to leave your three-piece suit in the closet (or, maybe not). Valio Con 2014 will be kicking off on Thursday, June 5^th and will be going strong until the afternoon of Sunday, June 8^th.

 

 

NXNEi 2014. From grassroots movements to enormous ideas, the folks that attend NXNE are bright, dedicated, and ready to network. Taking place in Toronto, Canada from June 13^th through the 22^nd, this interactive conference is for anyone interested in music, film, comedy, art, and interactive learning — or, anything else. Presentations, panels, and speakers are a valuable part of the week, but the networking and fun that comes from NXNE are invaluable additions to the experience.

 

 

O’Reilly Velocity. Santa Clara, CA welcomes the June leg of this conference’s journey from June 24^th through the 26^th. This is a training event for web professionals from any and all industries. Speakers and instructions revolve around all things internet, including ecommerce and the infamous cloud. This is where the best and the brightest web engineers come together to challenge each other to build a better web and learn from the experiences of their colleagues.
